Waking up, thanking God for all His blessings, praying, being recharged, spending time with God in our quiet time, and just rest at His feet every morning reminds us all that God has done for us, the love that God has shown us through Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, and the privilege of knowing him and having a close relationship with Him!, the creator of the universe.Joyce really goes deep in this devotional. These entries are from the important lessons she has learned over the last 3 years of her close walk with God, that she thinks will help us the readers. Its entries are short enough as with the nature of devotionals are but this ones goes a little deeper as this devotions is over 500 pages. I like that! It allows me to always able to have devotional time daily even in the busyness and overloaded schedules of work and family, but not to just tread the surface, but dig a little deeper into scripture even through this life's demands! This devotional also is also a springboard to deeper study if time is available to further study the scripture that is taught each day. In addition, there are nicely written prayers each day in the devotional. These are short prayers and helpful when we are pressed for time and many of us are! Of course this devotional is only a start and a wonderful tool for our busy lives. As we make more time to spend time with God, we can dig deeper into the scriptures and really be still in the secret place in intimate private prayer, and just rest in him.I pray that we all grow in our intimacy with our Father who loves us!. I have several of Joyce Meyer's devotionals - and they are all good! This one is a little different than the others in that it mirrors Joyce's own devotions rather than follows a theme. I do find it useful to look at different issues and apply the biblical principles - and for that this book is a great help. I enjoy it!
I was searching for a new daily devotional and I’m grateful to find another excellent one to start my day with. Each day starts with a scripture followed by an uplifting and encouraging word on the scripture topic by Joyce Meyer. There’s a prayer following at the end which completes the devotion for the day but by no means is the end as far as communicating with The Lord. He loves to hear from us about what we think and also loves to communicate with us through our prayers and meditation time with Him. I believe that Joyce wants the best for us all and she’s been a devoted teacher of God’s word for years. I know this devotional will be a great help and blessing in beginning each new day.
I enjoy her daily teachings. As I have gotten older, it is harder to stay focused. Reading her daily devotions helps me. It is short and to the point. My friend recommended this to me. She purchases a new Joyce Meyer devotional each year.
I love Joyce Meyer, and this devotional doesn’t disappoint. It’s so simple and straight to the point. I like that you can go deeper if you want into the scripture for that day, but if you only have a few minutes, you can get some quality content. I love Joyce’s personal, practical style of communicating.
I really enjoy Joyce Meyer and how she calls it like it is. This devotional is no different. I keep it by my bed and ready it each night. The pages are dated and I ordered it in time to start on January 1st. You could start it any day of the year. I would start on the correct day and ready it for 365 days it will catch up with itself.
The daily readings are down to earth, Where a person lives. The prayers help a person put into action what has been taught.
My Guiding Light!Almost daily I read Joyce Meyer's devotion and incredibly so many times it is just what I need to hear to get me through the day. Spiritual needs such as comfort and direction can be met in many ways with this personal and inspiring book. I can highly recommend it.
